3 days 2 night journey to explore the majestic and poetic beauty of the Ha Giang stone plateau, starting from Ha Giang city, passing through Quan Ba to Yen Minh. On the first day, visitors check in at Quan Ba Heaven Gate, Fairy Twin Mountain, explore Yen Minh pine forest and stay overnight at a local homestay, enjoying highland cuisine with the locals. On the second day, continue to experience Lung Tam linen weaving village, Lung Pu pristine waterfall, have lunch in Quan Ba and return to Ha Giang city, ending the short journey but full of the identity of the northern mountainous region.

Schedule Details

Day 1: Ha Giang City – Quan Ba – Yen Minh

Morning:

  • Depart from Ha Giang City

  • Check in at Quan Ba Heaven’s Gate

  • Visit Twin Mountains (Fairy Bosom Mountains) – a famous natural landmark

Afternoon:

  • Check-in at the Lonely Tree, explore the Yen Minh Pine Forest

  • Travel to Yen Minh Commune

Evening:

  • Check-in at a local homestay

  • Dinner with a local ethnic family, enjoy authentic mountain cuisine and culture

Yen Minh – Dong Van – Lung Cu

Morning:

  • Depart for Dong Van

  • Drive through the scenic and famous Tham Ma Pass

  • Visit the Hmong King’s Palace (Dinh Vua Meo) – a historic residence of the Vuong family

Afternoon:

  • Climb to the summit of Lung Cu Flag Tower – the northernmost point of Vietnam

  • Continue journey through the stunning Ma Pi Leng Pass – one of Vietnam’s four most dangerous passes

  • Overnight at a local Hmong village

Day 3: Ma Pi Leng – Tu San Canyon – Nho Que River – Mau Due – Ha Giang City

Morning:

  • Take a boat trip on the emerald green Nho Que River

  • Trek through the Tu San Canyon – the deepest canyon in Southeast Asia

  • Visit the iconic M-shaped road bend – a top spot for photos

Afternoon:

  • Have lunch in Mau Due
